The series "Equilibrios cotidianos" use unbalanced compositions to reflect how outside forces can throw us off, but also help us find balance in unexpected ways.
They invite viewers to think about what brings stability—or instability—to their own lives.
Still lifes that highlight the magic, everyday moments that often go unnoticed.

Rubén Sánchez (Madrid, 1979)
Deeply rooted in the present, his art celebrates everyday life, contemplation, and human imperfection—often symbolized by disrupted compositions with fallen vases, wilting plants, or stray objects. His style reflects a fusion of European culture, graphic design, and architecture, exploring the boundaries between artistic movements rather than seeking clear answers.
Rejecting robotic perfection, Sánchez highlights human vulnerability, connecting with viewers through themes like forgiveness, anxiety, and resilience. Influences from 90s skate culture, graffiti, and design bring a dynamic, fluid quality to his work, where figures twist impossibly and moments seem suspended in time.
Honest and unpretentious, his art invites viewers on an open-ended journey.
His work has been exhibited globally, with solo shows in Dubai, USA, Europe and participated in art fairs like Urban Break (Korea), Art Dubai, Urban Art Fair (Paris), Scope (Miami), etc
His work includes major commissions for Nike, UEFA, Apple, Facebook, Google, and more.
