πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallery owner, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile multimedia artist and transmitter of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of vividly colored sculptures, mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, buoyed by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — in particular Rockit (1983), from which the name is born. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comprises four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross viewers’ gaze and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
