The first image represents the transition of the work from the exterior wall to the internal space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside of palaces, houses, or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting fragment of wall is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had realized the exterior intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once the cut is made, this piece of wall can be moved and placed inside: in homes, buildings, museums, or other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.

The natural imperfections, marks, and dings of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they testify to its urban life and reinforce its characteristic identity of true Street Art.

The work is delivered ready to be hung. At the client’s request, framing can later be arranged.
