The original text: The first image represents the passage of the artwork from the external wall to the internal space of buildings. What is created on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside to buildings, houses or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the view of the wall deemed most interesting is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had carried out their external intervention. The fragment is then detached from its original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved and placed inside: in homes, buildings, museums or other structures. In this way the artwork changes its environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum context.

Natural imperfections, marks and dings of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they bear witness to its urban life and reinforce its characteristic identity of true Street Art.
