Description from the seller
OMEGA Pocket Watch in Argento 800 - Year 1928 (Movement 1923) - Small Seconds
A refined Omega pocket watch in solid Silver 800, splendid example from the 1920s that unites the elegance of noble metal with the mechanical precision of Bienne craftsmanship.
Era: Case datable to 1928. Original Omega movement, series 1923 (confirmed by serial records).
Material: Case in 800 Silver, hallmark stamped. The case back features a refined engine-turned guilloché finish that highlights its authenticity.
Dial: White enamel with very clear black Arabic numerals. Features the small seconds counter at 6 o'clock. The dial is in excellent conservative condition: no enamel loss, but only very fine capillary cracks typical of ancient ceramic.
Movement: Hand-wound mechanical Omega-manufacture caliber. Perfectly functioning, tested with good winding reserve and accuracy.
Details: Silver hallmarks visible inside the lids. Original hands from the period.
A piece of superior class thanks to the silver case and the preserved condition of the dial. The date discrepancy between case (1928) and movement (1923) is a certified historical characteristic of Omega production of the era.
