This asymmetric skirt is part of a collection in which the designer (from Messina) blends religious and Sicilian cultural elements with a contemporary aesthetic. The collection aims to reflect the contrast between religious rigor and contemporary sensuality, and perfectly represents Puglisi’s aesthetic universe, made of Sicilian symbolisms, theatrical glamour, and impeccable tailoring. The print unfolds like a visual narrative on a blush pink background, in a triumph of bright colors and graphic details.

Critics described the collection as one of the designer’s most successful, for its ability to fuse dramatic intensity with visual lightness.

The skirt is 100% silk with a vivid and well-defined print. The design features a side panel of differing length, giving the garment movement and originality. The colorful print draws inspiration from Baroque and religious themes typical of the designer’s Sicilian style.

Fausto Puglisi, known for his bold and feminine style, was the creative director of Roberto Cavalli in 2020.
