Our standards:
- Each bonsai is shipped with a sample package of our preferred organic bonsai long-term fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width, we place the measuring instrument at mid-height between the root base and the first branch (see example picture). In case of multiple trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All of our trees are planted in a substrate mix developed by us.
- Where available, we reuse old packaging when shipping, out of concern for the environment.
- The trees are watered prior to shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- Service providers are commissioned who state they typically deliver the goods within a maximum of 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid delivery delays due to weekends.
