The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters by a hollow portion. I consider this work a vindication of the self against the twists and turns of existence, but also an innate yearning upward. Towards a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the peak is characterized as an assembly of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
