The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unreproducible work.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, three-quarters interrupted by a hollow portion. I consider this piece a reclaiming of the self over the vicissitudes of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as an assembly of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
