Renata Giannelli - NEST

This work is made on a heavy black glittered fabric, stretched and sewn onto wooden slats, which constitutes the material base of the composition. On this surface is applied a sheet of handmade hemp-fiber paper, subsequently screen-printed, creating a refined dialogue between fabric, paper and the graphic mark.

At the center of the composition emerges a bas-relief made of iron wire, irregularly coated with pulp of cotton paper treated with oxidation effects. The form evokes a nest, symbol of origin, protection and generation. The three-dimensionality of the central element is further emphasized by the shadow it casts, sketched in pencil, which enhances spatial perception and creates a subtle interplay between real presence and representation.

The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and is delivered in its original packaging, carefully protected with rigid packaging to ensure its safety during transport.
