A piece of artisanal craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
Black and ivory-white lacquerwork with traditional Chinese motifs incorporated, made from other mother-of-pearl and soapstone.
46 x 36 x 2 cm.
Some minor signs of use consistent with age (see photos).
