Description from the seller
Title: Pappu – Masai Adriatico (2002) – Frajambo
The work “Pappu – Masai Adriatico” (2002) is a unique piece by artist Frajambo, one of the most interesting artists on the contemporary Italian scene.
Frajambo, a visual artist always active in cultural and artistic dynamics, works with raw and recycled materials, creating pieces that tell scenes of daily life reinterpreted through an original visual language. His style sits between cubism and contemporary pop, with an aesthetic research that reinterprets cubism in a modern key through a palette of vivid colors and very strong graphic contrasts.
The work presents a dynamic and geometric composition, where simplified shapes and color planes build an evocative and immediately recognizable scene. The pictorial surface is made on wallpaper, which gives the work a tactile texture that is particularly fascinating.
This piece belongs to the series “Masai Adriatico,” presented on the occasion of the Milan exhibition in 2022, a series that investigates identity, rituality, and everyday life through a contemporary visual language.
