Fernando Ribaudo - Luce

I am Fernando Ribaudo, a 63-year-old Italian artist. I worked for 42 years as a set designer for Italian TV. I have painted about 500 works in my life, but I am not famous, and I am currently retired, dedicating myself to my passion for creating paintings for various competitions, such as the Modigliani Prize 2026, including the submitted painting titled "Luce" that I created in oil on canvas in recent days, in oil and mixed media technique. My father was a portraitist, my grandfather a fresco painter who worked in Sicily. The single painting I created depicts a woman seated with several candles, surprised by the candlelight... which seems to want to grasp her with its hands."
