English mechanical clock by Elliott of London, circa 1960–1970, in a polished mahogany case with brass fittings, 8-day movement, time‑only, in good condition and in working order.

Stunning English mechanical clock from the 1950s-1970s, made by Elliott of London (a renowned brand for quality movements).
• Polished mahogany case, classic rectangular style with brass handle and feet.
• Silvered dial with Roman numerals, decorated blued hands, ornate center.
• Beautiful gilt brass corner appliqués featuring cherubs/angels (very elegant!).
• 8-day movement (weekly winding) with French escapement (French platform escapement, typical precision for Elliott clocks of this era).
Height 20 cm (excluding handle), max width 14.5 cm, max depth 7 cm → compact format ideal for a mantel, shelf, or desk.
Good working order (steady tick-tock).
Glass over the dial, marking “AN Elliott CLOCK MADE IN ENGLAND FRENCH ESCAPEMENT” visible on the back of the dial.
Authentic piece, not a reproduction. No chime (time only).
