The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraint. The transport cost includes all charges from the United States to your home.

IMPORTANT: NEVER accept a package that is damaged without opening and inspecting it.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and specify the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as “broken”, “scratched”, “damaged” or “folded”. If only the packaging is deteriorated but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. Conversely, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without inspecting your purchase at delivery, we cannot request compensation or replacement.

Regarding your right of withdrawal, we use DHL Express for the delivery of our artworks. Although this shipping method is costly, it is reliable. If you request a withdrawal, the DHL fees will remain at your expense. You will be responsible for the DHL Express shipping fees, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained notoriety in 2009 with his sculptures One Dollar, ranking that same year among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive two-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, prompted by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters 7 tons. The world’s largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by the mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Collectors Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1m80 and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. Artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar sculpture in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St Regis edition of One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work « A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City ».
- Presentation of the American Film Festival trophies to Thandiwe Newton, Jesse Eisenberg, Ana de Armas…

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.
- Solo exhibition of the artist.
- Finalization of the sculpture « Ascension of Christ » after several years of work.
- Moulding at Fonderia Del Chiaro (Italy) Pietrasanta.

2020: - Beginning of work on the largest piece ever created by the artist: the One Dollar Bronze Green 8 Meters.
- Deauville American Film Festival: he creates a new sculpture in collaboration with the city of Deauville, inspired by the barriers of Deauville’s promenade (the planks).

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, representing his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2018: - Creation of a new sculpture for the festival trophy of the Deauville American Film Festival; among the artists who received the artist’s trophy sculpture are: Morgan Freeman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle Fanning, Jason Clarke and many others...

- Several One Dollar sculptures by the artist exhibited inside the Royal Monceau hotel.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-high “One Dollar”, entirely bronze, was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at Marbella’s Atrium Gallery, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the city’s mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation entitled « A Piece of Heaven on Earth ». This work features a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: - Maserati premieres the Ghibli reimagined by Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France organized a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the town entrance.
- For the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” made from a collage of photos tracing the festival’s history.
