Description from the seller
This acrylic painting on canvas (50 × 70 cm) represents a female face captured in a moment of quiet and introspection. The subject is reduced to the essentials through a decisive and fluid graphic sign, which draws the features of the face and the hair with dynamic and light lines. The lips in deep red become the focal point of the composition, creating a strong contrast with the textured background in ochre, beige, and industrial gray tones. The color traces and the intentionally left imperfections on the surface give the work a contemporary and urban character. The piece joins figurative elegance and abstract gesture, creating a balance between delicacy and expressive strength. The result is a modern and refined portrait, capable of capturing the gaze and fitting perfectly into contemporary interiors.

Self-taught artist, my work does not follow a fixed style, but evolves with time and experiences. My painting arises from observing everyday life and listening to emotions. I tackle different themes and experiment with new languages, letting each work find its own form. Mine is an instinctive, essential, and imperfect art, tied to the complexity of the human being and of nature. Art, for me, is not decoration but authentic and lived presence.
In 2015 and 2016 I was a finalist in the Sunday Painters competition promoted by La Stampa, among over 3,000 works selected. The selections were curated by a qualified jury, with the presence of critic Francesco Bonami. The finalists were presented in a review connected to Artissima – International Fair of Contemporary Art in Turin. In 2016 I received the Critics’ Prize.
