Description from the seller

Antique mechanical pocket watch from around 1900.
The watch features a classic white enamel dial with Roman numerals and a small seconds dial at 6 o’clock.

On the movement the following engravings are present:
"Remontoir – Spiral Breguet – Ancre Ligne Droite – 16 Rubis – N° 4677".

This indicates a mechanical movement with anchor escapement, Breguet hairspring, and 16 jewels, a typical configuration for high-quality Swiss pocket watches of the period.

The case is made of silver and stamped 0.800. The inner cover is also silver.

Technical data:
• Mechanical pocket watch (hand-wound)
• Anchor escapement
• 16 jewels
• Breguet hairspring
• Case material: Silver 0.800
• Case diameter: approx. 48 mm
• Weight: 74 g
• Small seconds at 6 o’clock
• Serial number: 4677
• Origin: Switzerland
• Era: approx. 1900

Condition:
The watch is in good antique condition with age-related signs of wear.
The enamel dial shows fine hairline cracks, typical for watches of this age.
The movement appears complete and clean.

The watch is currently running, but accuracy has not been tested on a timing device and no service history is known.

Please note the photos, as they are part of the description.
