Exceptionally dedicated and signed copy on the title page by Carl De Keyzer (born in 1958), unique and undetectable on the Internet as a signed copy and practically unavailable as an unsigned copy. 96 pages and 75 black-and-white photographs full-page, text in Dutch, in English, in French and in German by Dirk van der Spek. Soft cover illustrated binding. In excellent condition.
Born in 1958 in Belgium, Carl De Keyzer began a career as an independent photographer in 1982 and joined Magnum in 1990.
During three long trips to India between 1985 and 1987. His journey to India was part of his personal path as a photographer, allowing him to explore and document the country’s cultural, architectural and landscape richness. Carl De Keyzer also captured the gazes and faces of the Indians he met. The publication of this book earned Karl De Keyser international recognition for the first time, crowned by the Grand Prix of the Fribourg Triennial.
