Pocket watch Perseo Swiss Made – 17 Jewels Incabloc – 1950s/60s
Fascinating vintage Perseo pocket watch, expression of the post-war European watchmaking tradition, characterized by elegant lines, great readability and a reliable Swiss mechanical movement.
The round case in polished silvery metal presents a bright surface well preserved. On the case back stands a stylized “FS” inscription overlapped, which gives the watch a distinctive and personal character. The watch is accompanied by a classic-style metal pocket chain, with sturdy links and decorative terminals, ideal for use with a waistcoat or jacket.
The white enamel dial is designed to offer maximum legibility: large black Arabic numerals, slim elegant hands and small seconds at 6 o’clock. On the outer edge there is a 24-hour scale, a feature typical of technical watches used in railway, military and professional contexts.
The dial bears the Perseo brand, together with the indications “17 Jewels – Incabloc – Swiss Made,” which attest to the quality and origin of the movement.
Inside we find a manual-wind Swiss mechanical movement, with 17 jewels, designed to reduce friction between components and improve precision and durability. The movement is also equipped with the Incabloc anti-shock protection system, which protects the delicate balance wheel from shocks.
