Swiss pocket watch “Chronomètre” – Mignon movement with 21 jewels – circa 1910/1925 – Argentan case – 47 mm
Elegant Swiss pocket watch from the early 20th century, equipped with a high-quality manual-winding mechanical movement.
The white enamel dial features black Arabic numerals with a red internal 24-hour scale and small seconds at 6 o'clock. The word “Chronomètre” highlights the watch’s precision vocation. Classic-style blue-steeled hands.
Inside is a Swiss movement signed Mignon, with 21 jewels, a mid-to-upper range movement for its era, with Swiss lever escapement and precision regulation. The movement appears clean and well preserved.
The case is made of Argentan (nickel silver / alpacca), a metal alloy widely used in quality watches of the period for its durability and longevity. Inside the case back there is the maker’s mark of the case manufacturer and the production number.
