Elegant barrel-back chair in solid walnut, attributable to Italian production of the early 20th century, with neoclassical and Italian Liberty influences.
The frame is characterized by clean, squared lines, with horizontal armrests integrated into the frame, a wraparound back, and conical square-section legs — typical elements of high-quality artisanal production of the period. The wood, in dark walnut color, preserves the original patina of the era.
The upholstery — present on seat, back, and inner sides — is covered in ivory damask fabric with a pierced geometric motif (Moroccan style), applied with a braided border. The covering is in decent condition, with a few small aging stains, no tears or structural deterioration.
The wooden frame is solid and stable, without invasive restorations, patches, or recent varnish work.
