Pocket watch American Waltham Watch Co. hallmarked 14k gold. Estimated dating 1890-1900. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock. Front cover decorated with relief engraving and shield. Back cover decorated with relief engraving. Presence of a second inner back cover, smooth. The movement of the watch has 17 jewels. Condition: excellent with very rare light scratches in wear areas and interiors and near the glass protection. Imperceptible dents visible inside the covers. Slight oxidation of the metal making up the movement visible in photos. The minute hand is slightly oxidized in some areas and was repaired at the terminal part that had broken. All of this is visible in the photos. Watch functioning, no maintenance performed. Numbered 916488 on the back cover. Numbered 22893154 on the movement. Diameter 48 mm, weight 68.6 g. Conservatively estimated gold content 14k at 40% of total weight. The shipment is insured and tracked.
