Antique inspired Cross - Bronze - 2020+ - Byzantine (replica)

Bronze replica of a Byzantine encolpion reliquary cross, inspired by medieval Orthodox models.
This cross is designed in the form of a traditional hinged encolpion, a type of devotional pectoral cross historically used in the Byzantine world to hold relics. The front depicts a stylised figure of Christ with outstretched arms, rendered in the characteristic simplified relief typical of Byzantine religious art. The reverse shows several medallions with symbolic figures and motifs associated with early Christian iconography.
The piece is cast in bronze and displays an attractive green patina that enhances its historical appearance. The cross measures approximately 9.5 cm in height, 4.5 cm in width and 1 cm in depth.
