Description from the seller
Bruno Paolo Benedetti, born in 1954, began taking photographs in 1968, studying perspective and photographic techniques. From the beginning he focused on black-and-white photography, observing the contrasts of nature, the lights, and interpreting the reality around him. When he was 25 he began working in the darkroom, refining his technique with filters and high-contrast films to create his first surreal and abstract photographs. At the same time he began traveling around Europe and the world: India, Nepal, Bhutan, South America, South Africa, Egypt, and the Comoros are among the places he has visited most. The study of religions and mysticism in all of them inspired his artistic production, especially his surreal photography, where cultural and religious archetypes are depicted.

Dream Landscape
In this evocative photograph, the quiet beauty of nature is transformed into a dreamlike vision. The luminous full moon rises above a vast expanse of sculpted sand, where delicate ripples and shallow reflections capture the moonlight like flowing silver. The interplay between darkness and light creates a surreal landscape that seems suspended between earth and sky.
The textures of the sand resemble an abstract terrain, almost like a distant planet or a silent ocean frozen in time. Through its minimalist composition and strong contrasts, Dream Landscape invites the viewer into a contemplative space where reality merges with imagination.
This artwork is presented as a limited edition of 25 prints, emphasizing its exclusivity and collectible value.
Exhibitions:
Venezia misteriosa, Venice, November 2015
Internazionale Italia Arte, MITT Turin, may 2013
Cinema Farnese Rome, june-july 2012
Cinema Farnese, Rome, may-september 2013
