Description from the seller
Ester Reut
He watched the sea and breathed blue
He looked beyond as he crossed the “endless,” beyond our small horizons. The sea contemplated him, caressing the waves with a silent gaze. He saved poor, unaware people from the deadly waves; few recognize his courage as a man, that courage that makes life seem small and pushes toward the ultimate sacrifice. He watched the sea and entrusted secrets and thoughts to the wind.
He glimpsed in the dense, salt-tinged air the choices, loves, irreparable errors, the sudden joys that his gaze illuminated.
Resigned, he came to the sublime conclusion that there is no “difference whatsoever between guiding peoples or getting drunk by oneself.”
Calm, he breathed in the wind, he was alone, at peace with himself and with the rest of the world. For one single undertaking, he would stop looking at this sea, turning his back to the waves.
For a great love he would challenge every limit,
For a great love he would end his truce, would again dare that fearless dive into the other.
Because his heart was pure, invincible and full of an uncommon light, like the sea.
