“Diffusing Light” explores the boundary between the material and the immaterial.
From the canvas emerge plaster hands, as if in search of contact, a gesture that would offer clarity to the world. Through their open palms flow gold drips, symbolizing an energy precious and fragile at once. Gold does not merely adorn: it spreads, slowly, like a light that passes through matter, transforming the gaze and inviting reflection on what in us shines and is transmitted.
The painting is signed by the artist Emma Lapassouze - an artist rated several times and recently on I-CAC - her technique includes the use of coffee grounds as an altered organic substance -
The creation came in a white American crate for an elegant enhancement of the subject.
