Rajasthani - JagMandir-eiland Udaipur stad

Traditionally JagMandir Island is depicted by Mr. Mohan on silk canvas, who has over 35 years of experience in Indian miniature Udaipur Jaipur paintings and the authentic works of miniature and Rajasthani paintings and Rajasthani artworks.

Before the painting was created, a full study was conducted on JagMandir Island plus the city of Udaipur, to give natural colors and to add more authenticity to this traditional Indian artwork, natural silk was selected as the medium. Natural silk is used so that no artificial treatment is done, as it would spoil the authentic and royal look.

Approximately a month of work and more than 150 hours went into painting this beautiful piece of Indian art.
