Description from the seller
Fly is a series that talks about flight, but not about the technical kind. About the inner one.
The canvases present a rough, sponged background, sometimes simply white, like a memory worn by time. On surfaces even very large appear tiny, essential, colored subjects: balloons, kites, airplanes. Elements tied to flying, but above all to the desire to do it.
The disproportion is intentional. The small becomes the protagonist inside a vast and imperfect space. That’s how memories work: the background fades, but certain details stay crisp.
Fly is a call back to childhood, to dreams, to what still today pushes us upward. It is not born to decorate, but to strike. To provoke seeking, remembering, and above all dreaming.
