Description from the seller

CLAUDE MONET , NYMPHEAS BLUES. Réunion des Musées Nationaux. Finart e Print S.A. Suisse.

Printed in Italy.

Measurements : 80x90cm.

Claude Monet was a French painter and one of the founders of the Impressionism. Born in 1840, he became famous for his innovative approach to capturing light, color, and atmosphere in natural landscapes. Rather than focusing on precise details, Monet used loose brushstrokes and vibrant colors to convey the changing effects of light throughout the day. One of his most influential works, Impression, Sunrise, even gave the Impressionist movement its name. Throughout his life he painted many outdoor scenes, including his famous series of water lilies created in the gardens of his home in Giverny. Monet’s work had a lasting impact on modern art and remains among the most admired and recognizable paintings in the world.
