In this work, the human figure appears with its back to the viewer, in a gesture of withdrawal that suggests vulnerability and introspection. Black butterflies rest on the skin, delicate elements that evoke simultaneously transformation, fragility and rebirth. Traditionally associated with metamorphosis, the butterflies become symbols of inner change here, as if the body were a silent territory where invisible processes are taking place.
The contrast between the illuminated skin and the green-toned background creates an almost dreamlike atmosphere. The subtle graphic marks in the background reference the language of the street, introducing an urban dimension that dialogues with the delicacy of the scene. This fusion between urban aesthetics and figurative representation creates a poetic tension between the exterior — the world of the city and its marks — and the interior — the intimate space of identity and transformation.
