Carlo Trevisan presents Creativity, an oil on canvas in a surrealist style, 46 × 46 cm, original edition dated 2020+, signed on the front with a certificate on the back, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
The work "Creativity" by Carlo Trevisan is a suggestive oil painting on canvas that transports the observer into a deliberately surreal dimension, where the everyday blends with poetic imagination.
Inspired by Magritte's lesson, Trevisan suspends in the sky the tools of the artistic craft — colored pencils and a central brush — transforming them into original parachutes or balloons thanks to black umbrellas.
The painting celebrates the idea that creativity is a free force, capable of floating above ordinary reality. The umbrellas seem to protect inspiration as it descends (or ascends) through a serene sky dotted with fluffy clouds.
The precision of the stroke and the softness of the shading typical of oil painting give the objects a plastic solidity, which fascinatingly contrasts with the absurdity of the depicted situation.
In this canvas, Trevisan does not merely portray objects, but paints the exact moment in which an idea takes flight, suggesting that art is the tool for navigating toward new mental horizons.
The painting is an oil on canvas measuring 36 x 36 cm, mounted with passepartout and faesite for final dimensions of 46 x 46 cm. Signed on the front by the artist and certified on the back
