With Best Friends Forever – Sugar Rush, SKE revisits the iconic Snoopy and Woodstock universe through an explosive composition blending humor, nostalgia and street art aesthetics.
In this energetic scene, the famous characters appear in a quirky and playful version, surrounded by colorful donuts, expressive sketches and graphic symbols. The stylized skeletons and visual annotations give the work a cheeky, almost punk spirit, while keeping the tenderness and humor typical of the Peanuts universe.
SKE plays with contrasts: childhood innocence, subtle dark humor and urban visual language. The result is a vibrant scene where friendship, indulgence and pop energy mingle in a contemporary, self-assured aesthetic.
A dynamic work full of character, intended for collectors who appreciate pop culture icons reinterpreted through the energy of contemporary street art.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and a versatile creator who grew up with 80s/90s culture, inspiring much of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen significantly. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, reinforcing his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also making a mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of pop culture, bold graphics and texture play characterize a style that has become indispensable.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to initiate or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
AN ARTISTICAL UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE's work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line employs the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while integrating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they reinterpret classics, not hesitating to deface Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to juxtapose them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with characters like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and Marvel Super Heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside the logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin) appear. He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass-consumption icons like Coca Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes evoking the glossy finish of a Jeff Koons or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
