Description from the seller
In this poetic and surreal work, a vast library unfolds inside a glass bottle, suspended above an ancient city.
The image evokes the dream of any curious mind: to contain the world’s knowledge within a closed, fragile and precious space.
The architectural spiral symbolizes the infinite quest for knowledge, while the transparency of the glass recalls the fragility of human memory.
This work combines dreamlike imagination with architectural rigor reminiscent of Escher and Piranesi, while affirming a contemporary perspective on the place of knowledge in a world saturated with information.
