Portugal assay mark (1887-1937), 833/000, and same date marker's mark.
Elegant Cut Crystal Bowl with Silver Mount and Stand.
Refined decorative and functional piece featuring a finely cut crystal bowl with a silver rim, raised on an elegant silver stand and base.
The square base with softly rounded corners rests on four spherical feet and is finished with a delicate beaded border. Four slender silver columns support the upper structure, connected by graceful crossbars. At the center hangs a finely detailed floral silver garland, adding depth, movement, and a distinctly classical character to the design.
The crystal bowl displays deep geometric cut decoration, catching and reflecting light beautifully, and highlighting the contrast between the brilliance of the crystal and the warm sheen of the silver. This harmonious combination is typical of luxury tableware from the late 19th to early 20th century, intended for elegant dining rooms and salons.
