Description from the seller
Beautiful original unpublished work created by contemporary painter Sergio Zampieri (Rome, 1968)
An exciting piece of strong narrative elegance. The female figure playing the harp creates a scene almost mythological while the painterly material and the golden reflections give a contemporary character, creating a balance between classical figuration and modern material painting. The gold is not only decorative but energy and spiritual light that traverses the scene.
The representation of the undefined face transforms the woman into a symbol, muse, and musical archetype.
The palette is very refined: the cool and pearly grays in the background, combined with gold and copper of the drapes made with acrylic pastes, create an elegant contrast with the warm flesh tones of the figure, painted in oil colors.
The final effect, as can be seen from the photographs, is the result of a very material work with iridescences and a play of light and shadow that shapes according to the position of the light source.
The artwork is archived and permanently visible on the artist's official website www.sergiozampieri.it where you can obtain further information about his artistic path.
