B. Morah, Bosque Ingrávido 88 XL, an original acrylic painting on cotton canvas (100 x 75 cm), hand-signed in 2026, depicting a surreal landscape with levitating trees in a multicolour palette.
Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 88 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravidad Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the unlikely: a forest that is not held by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not casual: as he did, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play —with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows— intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight out of nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravidad Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual release that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravidad Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
