A charming topographical work on the archipelago St. Kilda, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. This work explores the history of the island and it's beauty in a vividly descriptive manner, with interesting notes on the lives, culture, and education of those living there.Illustrated with a frontispiece, and eleven plates.Collated, complete. Written by the Scottish philanthropist George Seton, Book in overall fair condition for age. Ex library book with signs: rebacked by library with numbers on spine, stamps on boards, stickers on front endpaper, stamps at beginning, stamps on a corner and rear of plates, on last page-see photos.
Inside light stains but overall clean and text readable, plates with light stains on margins but overall good, one plate with a repair on margin. Enpapers reinforced with tape. Externally overall good.
