Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, along with Andy Warhole and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been meticulously handmade by me.
Hand-signed
Rib sculpture cast from ceramic (I think, therefore I am) 24/11/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on black plaque.
Total weight approx. 1.5 kg
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Köln, Dresden, Fankfurt, Paris, Luxemburg, Hamburg, München, Monaco...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An elementary feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me and thus gain a new life as "art objects".
