Artist Bio
Praline Cosmiche, always fond of 80s icons, comics, sci-fi settings and video games, absorbs in her mind the images of that era and reinterprets them on canvas, increasingly emphasizing a pop-matrix-inspired interpretative model.

Over the years she has approached Hip Hop culture and the world of graffiti, befriending some pioneers of American writing and starting to integrate elements of that culture into her works.

The sharp graphics and vivid colors constitute the distinctive hallmark of her works, through the use of various tools such as spray cans, acrylic paints, and markers.

Each technique is skillfully combined, giving life to compositions that not only catch the eye but transcend aesthetics to become an intense and engaging visual experience.

The precision and intensity of the details are the result of ongoing research that pushes the boundaries between graphic design and painting.

Continuous experimentation and the will to innovate are reflected in every work of hers, where Praline Cosmiche explores new forms and techniques, while always staying faithful to her own personal vision.

She does not define herself as either a pop artist or a street artist; her work belongs to post-graffitism, a trend that goes beyond the concept of urban art as an act of rebellion, evolving into a more complex and reflective visual expression.

From this perspective, her art becomes a bridge between the street art world and the gallery world, an encounter between the popular language of graffiti and the intellectualism of contemporary art.

Praline Cosmiche turns her attention to an audience seeking art that stimulates critical thinking, that reflects the social and cultural challenges of the present, capable of provoking questions and emotions, without remaining indifferent.
