This is a pair of antique salt cellars with cobalt blue glass cups and silver supports.

These objects are made in solid French 950 silver!!

Historically, salt cellars were important and decorative items on the table, often crafted in noble materials.

Weight with cobalt glass: 135 g; weight of the silver alone: 65 g

The design features a pierced band with cusped motifs and supports in the shape of ferine paws and mascarons, typical of antique silverware.
They can be traced to periods such as the 19th century or the Napoleonic Empire, depending on the hallmarks.
