According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais' market value in 2021 ranges roughly from 600 to 2,000 euros for his paintings and limited prints, making him relatively affordable for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauschenberg or de Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, which walk the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, this material worked with the body, a testimony to the artist's intimate monologue.
Artist represented at Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands.
Listed by Artprice, Drouot, and Akoun since 2005. Maeght Atelier in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f show in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas, and Lyon – Paul Bocuse Abbey, gala evening 2023. Paris private collection gallery on Île Saint Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy, and Portugal since 2019.
