The Omega Seamaster 300 Collection is the oldest that is still in production. Although it has changed, all the DNA of the Seamaster family is present in this exceptional model, beloved by collectors. Known as the "Big Triangle" or "Big T", this model features a large triangular outline at 12 o’clock. Associated with military models, the Big T’s have mainly been used by the British Army. This watch is powered by the automatic caliber 552. In 1955 Omega bought a small watch factory from Marc Favre, which had created an automatic caliber using a complete rotor. In 1965 they produced caliber 565 (an evolution of 552). This movement with 24 jewels is notable for being shock-resistant and anti-magnetic.

The original bakelite bezel with Tritium scale markings is remarkably well preserved with some age-appropriate wear. The dial, marked with "T Swiss made T" to indicate the presence of Tritium, has developed minimal patina, as have its hands. A small detail we love is the Omega logo engraved in the center of the crystal!

The Big Triangle Seamaster Big Triangle...

The dial features a large triangle at 12 o’clock, which led collectors to call these watches the "Big Triangle" Seamasters. The large triangle was developed for the British Royal Navy, which, combined with the sword hands, gives the watch a true military vibe. The bezel insert is in good condition. The asymmetric case is in good condition.

This collector’s watch comes with a certificate of authenticity.
