Fern is the pseudonym used by sculptor Clavo and sculptor Carmen Lop when they work together.

Both sculptors work with metal forging, mainly iron and steel.

The techniques they mainly use are forging and welding.

Their styles range from figurative to abstract, including pop art.

They place great emphasis on technique and craftsmanship to make a good sculpture.

They have participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, mostly national.

They have received separate awards, notably the Urban Sculpture Prize Ciudad de Ávila in 2006 and the Memorial to the Victims of Gender Violence in Zaragoza 2016.

They admire Spanish sculptors such as Martín Chirino, Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida or Julio González.
