Description from the seller
The Opera:
This work represents an explosion of chromatic energy that fuses the elegance of fashion illustration with the audacity of abstract Pop Art. At the center of the composition, a female figure with a sculptural profile and scarlet lips dominates the scene, serving as a visual anchor in a vortex of psychedelic patterns.
The Protagonist Accessory: The large round sunglasses not only reflect an inner landscape, but become the portal through which the viewer interprets the subject: a confident, mysterious woman deeply immersed in her time.
Texture and Movement: The organic shapes and flat orange circles create a visual layering that adds depth to the canvas, making it a piece capable of furnishing and defining the character of any modern environment.
Canvas 60x60, hand-stretched and hand-signed on the back, provided with a certificate of authenticity.
Cicarelli Michela is an Italian artist who combines academic training with contemporary sensibility. After studies at the Art Institute, where she developed the basics of painting and composition, she continues her growth as a pupil of important Livorno painters, known for the expressive force of color and the depth of their portraits. This link between Tuscan painting tradition becomes a fundamental element in her artistic identity.
For much of her career Michela has worked on commission, creating personalized works and developing a direct relationship with collectors. A discreet path, far from competition and exhibition circuits, this has allowed her to refine an intimate and authentic language. Today she chooses to devote herself entirely to painting and to building her personal artistic universe. Her stylistic signature emerges from a blend of digital tools and acrylic technique: images take shape on the computer, are transferred to canvas and completed with gestural and material painting interventions. This combination brings to life a contemporary aesthetic, intense and strongly emotional.
