"Restless" is an explosion of restrained energy, a work that lives on chromatic and gestural contrasts. The composition is dominated by a central column of warm tones — vibrant reds and bright oranges — that seem to struggle to emerge from a cold and tactile background, made of dusty blues, cement grays and traces of earth. The black strokes, decisive and almost scratched onto the canvas, confer the painting with relentless dynamism. The use of a layered technique creates visual depth that invites the observer to seek order in chaos.

The work is part of the series "Parenthesis", a collection that explores the idea of art as a suspended space.
