Hollywood Regency gilded Florentine leaf wall/ceiling lamp – attributed to Hans Kögl – Germany, 1970s

Florentine wall- or ceiling lamp. This iconic sunflower or leaf design is most often attributed to or inspired by the well-known German designer Hans Kögl.
The lamp is constructed from multiple layered, detailed metal leaves with a beautiful gold finish. This not only provides a luxurious, sculptural look on the wall or ceiling during the day, but also creates a fabulous display of light and shadow in the evening.
In the heart of the lamp is an E27 socket.
For the best effect (as shown in the photos) we recommend using a reflector mirror bulb.
This causes the light to be reflected indirectly onto the gold leaves, producing a warm, atmospheric and non-dazzling glow.

Thanks to the flat rear housing, the piece is multifunctional: perfect as a focal point on the wall (sconce) or as a chic ceiling lamp (flush mount).
