Original artwork by the Italian street artist “About Ponny.” This painting is inspired by the eponymous graffiti “The Dog,” 2017. Still visible in Rome, in the Ostiense district.

About Ponny (Bologna 2009) is an Italian street artist whose identity remains not entirely clear.

Linked to the concept of graffiti as free expression, autonomous and independent, he has painted in many European cities and in recent years especially in Rome.

As he states: “I am tormented by urban surfaces and the frames that the city can offer me; I am in constant dialogue with them.”

He uses stencils and spray as his preferred expressive tools.

He paints faces, ordinary people, gazes and expressions.
