Description from the seller
After the Rain – Contemporary Abstract Opera
The canvas will be rolled up and wrapped with protective material and inserted into a shipping tube.
Description of the work:
"Analytical study on the refraction of post-temporal light: a work characterized by an extremely high material density and relief chromatic stratifications, executed with pure pigments on high-quality canvas."
"After the Rain" is a fascinating abstract composition that captures the suspended and vibrant atmosphere of the moment right after a storm. The work stands out for its deft use of texture and color: vertical brushstrokes in shades of gray, cerulean blue, and earth shadow merge with definite bright orange accents, evoking the reflection of light or urban lights on wet surfaces.
The lower part of the canvas presents a complex stratification and controlled drips, creating a "water mirror" effect that adds depth and a sense of regenerative calm. The material technique gives the painting a three-dimensionality that changes depending on the light exposure.
"It is advisable to illuminate with warm-directional spotlights: this choice enhances the three-dimensional nature of the drips and the micro-shadows of the textured material, revealing reflections and color details that change with the angle of the light."
ONE-OF-A-KIND piece not replicable.
