The artist goes after the whale… but Paul Watson wasn’t there to stop him!
No panic, no cetacean was mistreated during the creation of this artwork. An (almost) ecological gesture: the graffiti was made with a marker on a photo of a whale, not with spray directly on the animal.

Firstly because it’s dangerous (it moves a lot, that cheeky one), and secondly because… spray underwater doesn’t work very well.

BLACH, always ahead of his time, but not quite ready for underwater street art.

Biography

French artist, Maxime Blachère alias BLACH R (Alt+0.174) is today present in more than 30 countries and exhibits in numerous art galleries across Europe, the United States, and Asia.

Humor is a constant in Maxime Blachère’s work, and he knows no borders. His unique artistic approach attracts thousands of collectors and business leaders around the world. His art is a universal language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers.

Blach has also drawn attention from the media. His creations have been shared by renowned platforms such as Topito and Memedecentralisés, drawing in an even wider audience. Among Maxime Blachère’s many works are his “invisible graffiti” pioneering the genre. He also creates white graffiti on white square on a white background, minimalist compositions that challenge traditional art conventions.
