The silver fork is hallmarked with a dolphin a Dutch hallmark used between the years 1859-1893 to control the grade of older works in silver. Both handles have engraved patterns. The knife has a steel blade with an indistinct makersmark.

The antique laether holder has a decoration with flower motives and stripes.

This type of cutlery was used at home but also while making visits.
